Our Mission
Petey's Legacy is a 501(c)3 non-profit, founded with the mission to rescue and rehome abandoned and neglected animals. Founded in upstate New York and named after our first rescue dog, Petey, our organization is driven by a love and compassion for animals. We believe every animal deserves a second chance and a loving home, where they will stay forever. Our dedicated team of volunteers work tirelessly to provide shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation for animals in need. Through our adoption services, foster care program, and volunteer opportunities, we strive to reduce animal homelessness and promote responsible pet ownership. Join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of these wonderful creatures.
